DVD: Sunset Strip

First, it`s the best of professional women`s wrestling in a battle between stars! Australian star Sue Sexton dons a lilac flowered suit to do battle with the Hispanic brawler Lady Victoria in the first bout. Lady Victoria has an advantage in size, but the wily veteran of the LPWA knows all the angles. For some reason, the crafty Sexton decides to play dirty in order to defeat the challenge of the experienced Victoria. It is strange to see Sexton as a villain, but a villain is what she becomes.

She applies a punishing full nelson on Victoria to begin the melee, and soon is slamming the auburn haired Victoria’s head into the nearest turnbuckle, followed by a smashing right which flattens the surprised Victoria on the mat. Lady battles back with a complete knowledge of painful holds that has Sexton confused and hurt. Soon the Australian champ continues her assault with savage stomps, standing hair pulls, and flashing fists to the belly and the head. Lady Victoria reels from this unlawful attack, as she had counted on a methodical struggle.

Finally, Victoria decides to fight fire with fire, and the two pros stand toe to toe, trading punches to the head and body. Sexton is caught with a roundhouse right and falls backward on the mat like a fallen tree. The two battle on and on until a savage backdrop and fierce reverse cradle ends the day for one of the deceitful pros. This match shows why we don`t always like our professional women`s wrestling clean!



The second bout pits the tall, gorgeous Hollywood against the dark haired petite Cheryl. You all know how cruel Hollywood can be ,and she begins the match with an arm-lock that has Cheryl writhing in pain. Turning to the audience, Hollywood screams “Break It?” as she ponders doing permanent damage to Cheryl’s body. Cheryl, however, is a powerful little hellcat with lightning speed and the strength of a much bigger amazon. She returns Hollywood’s attack, and after a brutal Boston Crab tosses Hollywood outside the ropes. Hollywood goes crazy and slams Cheryl’s face first to the mat and then the cornerpost. She finally chokes the screaming Cheryl with the microphone cord. It appears as if all hell has broken loose.

Then the well-stacked blonde climbs to the top of the ropes and tries to smother wee little Cheryl with a well timed jump. The two roll on the mat and the battle gets hotter. Cheryl catches Hollywood with a flying drop-kick to the chest, and down goes the arrogant blonde beauty. Then follows some of the fiercest fighting ever seen in a ring until Sunset Flip ends the day, the match--and the will to fight for one of these felines. The loser is trapped and her exhausted body is completely controlled by the victor. A superb professional women`s wrestling match!!!
