Biography: RipTide, also known as Angel Orsini, has accomplished much in her life. She began early and trained for bodybuilding competitions, ranking high in her heavyweight devision. She also did strength training and was a student of Tae Kwon Do and Hopkido. She soon became a black belt and taught Tae Kwon Do. But that wasn?t enough for Angel, she wanted something more and so she began training with Bart Vale in freefighting and mixed martial arts. Back before the MMA was a common house hold name, Angel won the Florida State Continuous Fighting Championship then she traveled to Japan to make her MMA debut against Yokimiko Hotta.
While in Japan, she was at a Japanese female wrestling event and met Reggie Bennett, a world renown professional woman wrestler. Reggie must have been a big influence on Angel because the rest is history. It was a natural progression for Angel to follow her love for competition and soon she was back in America and started training in pro wrestling with with Liz Chase and Dusty Rhodes, and RipTide was born. She took the wrestling world by storm and quickly achieved numerous Championships. And rightly so! With her talent, she intimidates most who step into the ring with her!
